Why are you appointment only?

In short - to provide the best service to our clients. 

The appointment system means our clients are booked for one on one time with the professional that can help them; whether that be our photographer, framer, image restorer etc.

It allows clients to have a productive, time efficient visit without having to wait in a queue, or visiting us and the professional you need to speak with not being available/with another client.

PASSPORT & VISA PHOTOGRAPHS FAQs

Do I need to book?

Yes, all visits to the Studio must be pre-booked.

If you require wheelchair assistance, or have any disability/special needs please mention upon booking so we have everything set up for your arrival.

Why are Verdi Studios more expensive than the train station/supermarket booths, or chemist?

We are a professional Studio.

Professional photographer. Professional lighting. Professional camera.

 

Two photographs are taken, then you simply choose your favourite. (We advise you on what will be accepted/rejected).

 

Passport/visa photographs taken in our Studio are 100% guaranteed to be accepted.

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY FAQs

Do I need to book?

YES! Book 2-6 weeks in advance.

Appointments for Portrait Photoshoots (especially for Saturdays), are taken very quickly.

We advise, as soon as you know when you want to come in... BOOK!

Do you charge for the Photography Session?

Yes

All pricing info is on our Portraiture page.

What clothes should we wear?

You can wear whatever you like!

However, we would suggest to wear something you know you look good in, something you've worn before (especially for the kids), and something comfortable!

Bright colours look fantastic. Visit the portrait galleries to see some of our work.

 

Is black and white the same price as colour?

Yes.

 

Do you airbrush/retouch photos taken in your Studio?

No. You can read why, here.

COMMERCIAL/PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Do I need to book?

YES! Appointments are usually available 5-7 days after your free consultation, however this is subject to availability.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

To the consultation - just yourself, a couple of your products, and your ideas.

To the shoot - we will discuss this in the consultation.

 

How will I be charged?

Usually, per hour.

If there are any additional charges, eg: per image / props etc, this will be discussed in your consultation.

FRAMING & IMAGE RESTORATION

Do I need to book?

Yes, all visits to the Studio must be pre-booked.

Please bring your photograph/canvas/artwork with you.

Can you give me a quote over the phone?

Framing - we can give you an estimate over the phone.

Image restoration - no. It is near impossible to give you an accurate quote without seeing the job first. We not only need to assess the damage, we need to consider many other factors which can impact the outcome.
